1. Scope
This policy applies to Premium Plan subscriptions (monthly and yearly plans) and coins purchased through the Service's website. Matters not covered by this policy are governed by our Terms of Use.
2. Cancelling the Premium Plan
- The Premium Plan is an auto-renewing subscription. Unless you cancel before the next renewal date, it renews automatically for each displayed term and you are charged the applicable fee.
- You may cancel a Premium Plan purchased on our website at any time from the Service's settings screen or another screen we designate, or from Paddle's customer portal (accessible from the email Paddle sends when you purchase).
- Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. You may continue using the Premium Plan's features through the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Logging out or deleting your account does not cancel the Premium Plan. If you have trouble cancelling, please contact us.
3. Free trials
If a free trial is offered for the yearly plan or another plan, it automatically converts to a paid Premium Plan when the trial ends unless you cancel before then, and you will be charged. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. Charges after conversion to a paid plan are handled under "4. Refunds for web purchases."
4. Refunds for web purchases
Because of the nature of digital content, payments for the Premium Plan and coins purchased on our website are generally non-refundable. We generally do not provide prorated refunds for an unused portion of a subscription period after cancellation. Purchased paid coins are not refundable except as required by law.
Paddle may review refund requests individually under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, including in circumstances such as:
- duplicate charges for the same order;
- an unintended amount or number of charges caused by a technical error;
- a material technical issue attributable to us that prevents us from providing the purchased paid service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time; or
- where a refund is required by applicable law.
Payments made through our website, and refund decisions and processing, are handled by the Paddle contracting entity for the buyer's location—Paddle.com Inc. in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. in Canada, and Paddle.com Market Limited elsewhere (collectively, "Paddle")—as the Merchant of Record (the authorized reseller). Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply, subject to any non-waivable statutory withdrawal or refund rights in your location. Paddle's name may appear on your receipt, payment statement, or transaction-related email.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund or exercise a statutory withdrawal right for a web purchase, use the support link in your Paddle receipt or customer portal, or visit Paddle buyer support. The deadline, eligibility, and decision criteria are governed by the Paddle Refund Policy in effect for your purchase and the law that applies where you live.
If you need help investigating a technical issue with the Service or preparing your request, contact info@cloviz.co.jp and include:
- the email address registered with Mahjong Q'z;
- the Paddle order or transaction number (shown in the email from Paddle);
- the purchase date;
- the amount and currency; and
- the reason for your request.
We may request additional information to verify your identity or the transaction. Contacting us does not replace submitting the request to Paddle and does not guarantee approval.
6. When an approved refund will appear
Refunds approved by Paddle are generally returned to the original payment method. After Paddle completes the refund, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer, bank, or other payment provider. Premium Plan access covered by a refund is revoked when the refund is processed. A refunded coin purchase is recorded in the transaction history, but coins already credited are not automatically deducted from the balance. If abuse is confirmed, we may adjust the account or balance under the Terms of Use.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws that apply where you live. If this policy conflicts with such a law, that law will prevail.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, payment-provider requirements, or our services. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
